Description: Inspired by the vastness of space and the mysteries of distant planets, the “Chasma” series reflects Alex Skeffington’s fascination with astronomy. One clear summer night, gazing at the stars, Alex was struck by the unique environments of each planet and felt compelled to capture that essence in her work. This inspiration led to the creation of “Chasma,” named after the term for a long, narrow, steep-sided depression found on planetary bodies beyond Earth.
