Description: This particular ring consists of a black pearl that has been rejected from it’s oyster creating a unique texture which Alex was immediately drawn to. Anything distorted, different or exciting for that matter, Alex is attracted to. It came as no shock that a new signature AS setting, “Melted” and a new signature texture “Rejected” came about when designing a new home for this original beauty. The first of it’s kind, the Rejected Pearl is a truly unique design for Alex Skeffington Metal Atelier. The inspiration behind this piece was the pearl itself. The textures and understanding of why the pearl was rejected gave Alex the subliminal thought that this piece would be insinuating the wearer to keep an open mind (relating to the oyster rejecting the pearl). But in turn, it was Alex who kept an open mind and here we are today with numerous new features added to the Alex Skeffington Metal Atelier.
